The 1 mile run will begin at 9:00 AM and the 5K at 9:30 AM.
We will release "mini waves" every few minutes until everyone has crossed the start line.
-Runners should arrive at 8:00 AM for check in. For everyone's safety, we ask faster runners to line up closer to the front of the start corral, then followed by run/walkers, walkers, and those with strollers toward the back.
Packet Pickup will be at the run. Gates open and check-in begins at 8:00 AM.

I-4 west from Orlando; exit 75B (Kirkman Rd-Hwy 435). Go north 1.8 mile, west on Conroy 1.5 mile, north on Hiawassee to park on right. Check in at south end of park.
WHAT YOU GET
All participants receive a t-shirt (Youth and Adult sizes), awesome finisher medal, and (of course) Christmas Cookies at the race!
FREE, unlimited photo downloads after the event! We will have our team of photographers roaming the race course to catch all the action. $2 surcharge, required at registration, applies. IMPORTANT: Remember your bib # and wear it visibly on your front, you will need it to search for your photos online after the run. It is up to YOU to remember your bib #, we do not keep record of it.
Take the CHRISTMAS COOKIE CHALLENGE! Run both The 1 Mile and 5K! In addition to the Christmas Cookie Run shirt & medal, you'll get a second unique CHRISTMAS COOKIE 5K & 1 MILE CHALLENGE medal! (The 1 mile will begin at 9:00 AM and the 5k at 9:30 AM)
You will run 2 laps on the bike trails in Bill Frederick Park.
Note: this is a fun run and the course is not a certified 5K and is not officially timed. We approximate the distance based on terrain and accessibility.
Jogging strollers and large wheel strollers will be fine on the course. We advise against small wheel strollers.
NO REFUND POLICY
We cannot issue refunds. The cost and logistics of setting up and planning the event make refunds impossible.
We aim for the event to take place rain or shine, however please understand we are at the mercy of mother nature and county officials. If conditions deteriorate to the point of becoming an unsafe environment for our participants, or if the venue becomes inaccessible for safe event preparation, we will react accordingly. Safety will always take precedence. Cancellations due to weather or other acts of God cannot be refunded.
If you find that you are unable to use your registration, we are happy to transfer it to another person or to a future event. You must email us TWO WEEKS PRIOR to the event at firstname.lastname@example.org for transfers. Any requests less than two weeks prior cannot be honored.
We have pre-event and during event volunteer opportunities for individuals or groups. In addition, we are looking for makeup artists, photographers, a videographer/editor and an EMT. Please email us for more information at email@example.com.
